What Games We get in the next 6 months

Ey all,

I thought I'd Share this info with all of you about what games have or will be looking foward to. Although many of you heard about them, I will just list a few i am looking foward to:

1. Medal Of Honor 2010 Reboot

An old age classic now rebooted. I actually played the game. As stated it is set in Afghanistan in 2002, and my main impresion was "meh, another shooter". After I played the first 2 missions the game got more interesting. Now I will not give much details about the plot, will let you figure it out. My main concerns are 3 things : Graphics on High look like a 2006-2007 game , not the acual 2010. 2. I have to keep pressed right click to Aim Down the Sight, it ain't toggle like, same thing for sprinting. 3. There just aren't enough weapons in the game. So far i spotted 20 different weapons. Just too few in a modern-era game. All in all it is an entertaining game and I reccomend it for wasting some time having fun

2. Call of Duty Black Ops ( or 7)

Yes Treyarch will be doing it again. Now this time it's a game set in Vietnam-War-Cuban-Missle-Crisys-Etc-Time-Confusing period. The graphics are a bit better than Modern Warfare 2 and it will feature enough elements. As Infinity Ward kept one called Cpt. Price in all their games, Treyarch will bring back Sgt. Reznov, only that this time he's one of the good guys, not some Soviet a.k.a Zakhaev general. One particular thing I'm looking foward to is the multiplayer as seen in a few trailers, will be much more advanced and fun than the Modern Warfare 2 variant. Plus Treyarch is taking some measures against some complaints. For example boosting will be impossible in Free For All or Big team games, grenade launchers and normal launchers(like RPG) and tactical grenades(flash, stun) will not be resupplied by Scavenger perk like in MW2. A rather dissapointing thing is that one perk, Stopping Power, the 40% bullet damage increase will not make a return, which is a bad thing for snipers as it forces them to hit the head,neck or upper chest for a 1 shot kill. Another thing they took against the snipers is the so-called quickscoping. In any rate 11-th November, I will be in the game busting my ass off.

9/10 great shooter, weaker than MW2

3. Assassin's Creed : Brotherhood

Got upset that Ezio didn't kill the bad guy at the ending of Assassin's Creed 2? No worries you will get the 2-nd chance in Brotherhood. The game will take place a few hours after the events at Rome, with the Assassin's HQ destroyed by Rodrigo Borgia's son.
After that the game moves foward spanning 10 years in Rome, Naples and other parts of Italy where Ezio has to start rebuilding the order, eliberating Rome from the Borgia Rule and also foiling their plans of Italy domination. Also Ezio will have a new array of weapons most created by Leonardo da Vinci. The gameplay will be more enhanced with new moves, new enemies and new tactics being introduced. Also what I mean by Rebuilding the Order, he gets to recruit personal assassins which he will use throughout the game. The game will appear on 19-th November on consoles and in the spring on the PC. Why do console owning people have all the fun

10/10 I FRIGGIN LOVE IT MAN!!!

4. Need For Speed Hot Pursuit

Another game I am looking foward to Since the days of Need For Speed : Hot Pursuit 2 (2001) when you had the chance to play as a cop. And I do not mean only 7 minutes of cop action, I mean a whole career mode of it. It will feature a racer career also, but Imo I rather play a cop cuz I am sick of racing. ME WANTS DESTRUCTION!!! Another good thing is that it will feature most of the supercars, not rubbish like a Renault Clio V6 O.o or a Dodge Neon. I MEAN REAL CARS : Buggati Veyron, Lamborghini Reventon, Mercedes Benz SLS, Aston Martin's Koenigsegg's the lot!The graphics and gameplay system look well balanced, and who wouldn't want to see a Supercar in police color livery? With a release date on the same day as Assassin's Creed, I have to say I'm looking more foward to Need for Speed, as it promises alot for the game racers in us!

9.5/10 Truly Epic driving game, one of my favorites

5.Test Drive Unlimited 2

I played Test Drive Unlimited and it took me 3 months to actually get bored of it. It had a huuuge array of cars to choose from, great graphics and races. Test Drive Unlimited 2 promises even more! With 2 islands to play in : Oahu And Ibiza, made to look like in real life and an even bigger array of cars, with the addition of an improved motorcycle driving system and the addition of SUV, Test Drive Unlimited 2 is my top game to be released in 2011.

6. Dragon Age II

The last game I am looking foward to. It continues the Dragon Age story, although the Archdemon was defeated and you allied/destroyed The Architect , the darkspawn threat still exists. The game centers around a Guy/Lass called Hawke, a Lothering survivor which will rise to glory. Although you cannot change the race, you can (and would anyways) change the gender and class. The biggest improvement is that the main character will be fully voiced, kinda like The Witcher (another great game). The game itself will take part in the Free Marches, to the north of Ferelden spanning over 10 years (these guys and Assassin's Creed ones need some cars desperately XD) in which Hawke will take decisions which will directly influence the game. Because it's a sequel, decisions you took in Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Origins : Awakening, will somehow influence the play of Dragon Age 2.
With an expected release date on 8-th of March in 2011, this is the last game I am looking foward to.

8'th March actually meant 8.0/10 for some big downsides? Who knows?

7. Mass Effect 3

I actually got dragged into the Mass Effect universe by Agodil while he mentioned he was downloadin Mass Effect 2. So I decided to try'em out myself. The first one gets a 9/10 , great game and storyline, TOOO many weapons and random sh***. The 2'nd one gets a perfect 10. That game is just full of the sensation you are doing something epic. Even completin a mission is EPIC. I really really reaaaaaly love this game. Now about Mass Effect 3 all i know is that it will come out this Christmas and that the Reapers (which you can see in the ending of Mass Effect 2) are invading Earth. This game is deffinetly on my X-Mas Wish list.

8.Shift 2 Unleashed

Yep as you have probably seen as a teaser in NFSHP, Shift 2 (also called Shift Unleashed) will make an appearance. Now I am not an Racing Sim type, but i have to give them credits, the first shift was in fact a really good game. My main problem was that the steering was designed for a Steering Wheel gamepad thingy, not an actual keyboard. I can only hope that in Shift 2 they will try atleast to adress this issue. 8-th of March, same day as Dragon Age II, will be a real fight on what to play first.

8/10 Controls are still awkward, game is perfect graphic-wise.

9.Batman Arkham City

The game continues the storyline set by Batman Arkham Asylum, a game that I didn't actually play, more likely watch it as someone else played it. That game gets a 9.5 , mainly cuz it was a fun game, with seriousness, realistic combat and ofc scary levels with Scarecrow. It thrilled me. Now we don't know an exact release date but this game promises to be atleast better than the old one.

10. The Witcher 2

The first Witcher was a game like Dragon age with the voice and communication of Mass Effect, nevertheless a REALLY F**** good game. I loved it alot everything about it, another classic in my book. Now The Witcher 2 Brings back dusty ol' Geralt of Rivia back in action with alot of seamless improvements. Updated GFX , new monsters, new companions, (new sex scenes), just another great game I am waiting to be released. On the 17th of May close to my b-day, the fight is on between NFSHP or this game to buy as a B-day present

11. Stronghold 3

The last game I want to talk about. The Stronghold series is one of the classics. I still remember me 10 years ago playing Crusader. It was just addictive and fun, Stronghold 2 was a black sheep of the series mainly cuz it was too complicated, unlike the Crusader. Now stronghold 3 promises to make it's return with a system similar to Crusader's one. With a launch date in April 2011 this is the last game in the new series I can't w8 to try.

Bionic commando ( cleared the whole game)
final thought : good game really nice graphics and action worth the buy i would say
for people that dont know bionic commando there was a classic 2d one on the NES released in 1988
that was really great back then and i must say with this new release they did a great job brings back memories swinging around on my bionic arm again

Ghostbusters ( Cleared the whole game )
i must say its a great game was fun to go back to all the old places from the movie like the sedgewick hotel and catch ghost with my proton beam , the graphics are also very good and its a real treat to play for a ghostbuster fan the story line is fun to follow and with comical lines u will be laughing all the way
btw real voices of Dan Aykroyd and bill murray ( and tbh the voices of Ernie Hudson/Winston Zeddmore and Harold Ramis/Dr. Egon Spengler sound like exactly the same maybe they worked on the game also behind the scenes ??)
Final thought : the games gets a bit repetitive after a while but for a true ghostbuster fan its a must play i say

Lost planet 2 ( Cleared whole campaign on normal almost done with Hard mode )

the graphics again are amazing the boss fights are stunning its a fantastic game guys
atm my Femmes Fatales is lvl91 ( 99 is max)
and there are so many unlocks u can get like name tags u can wear , body parts for cosmetics , emotes! , weapons! and Abilities u can equip
great shooter + great action + coop = Great game!
Final thought : a must get if u like shooters the graphics like i said are amazing and the game play is fun story line is fun to go through and the game has a high reply value with campaign secret areas money boxes u can get for the slot machine! , multiplayer with team deathmatch , deathmatch , data post battle, akrid eggs and more!
also u have a training u can do that also holds AI training

Resident evil 5 : ( just picked up the game again )
wel gameplay is good i found it a bit hard to get the hang of but once u know it its a piece of cake
im now around chapter 3-2 and i still enjoy it very much its a great game very fun to play and scary ass hell!
Final thought: wel i had this game for a while but i never really played it ...i already saw it needed my full attention because its a great game and story line that i just wanna honor by playing it all the way through and not stop half way , good game i would almost say the best of the resident evil series but thats for u to decide

As you well know Call Of Duty Black Ops has been released, and I've been testing it thoroughly for the past week, so what I want to do is to give you a review, or my personal opinion about the game.

First of all The Campaign

The campaign itself is well ballanced, entertaining, presents Alex Mason ( the protagonist), being tortured for him to remember some numbers, those numbers being high security US Intel Info etc..., while he relays his flashbacks during 1961-1968. He assasinates a clone of Castro, gets imprisoned in Vorkuta where he meets Reznov and breaks free, goes to assasinate the one which created a deadly gas after what Reznov told him he did in 1945, just after the end of the war, fights in Vietnam and eventually chokes the man responsible for all. He was brainwashed in Vorkuta so that he can unterstand those numbers, which were secret stuff which I am not gonna spoil right now.
The missions I found quite delectable. The game itself is scripted with alot of cinematic moments, like when firing a bullet to Castro's Clone. The game will put you in control of vehicles, and I don't mean tanks, what I mean is a Mi-24 Hind a Bell Huey and a PT Boat.
The PT boat I found it as the best mission, mainly because when your driving down the river, shooting stuff, two 1960-1970 songs play while you do that. Something like " ah what the hell let's just shoot vietnamese soldiers while I listen to Elvis Presley".

2.Zooooombieeeeees

Yes, zombie mode makes it's return in Black Ops, only that it features 2 maps, one Nazi based-one and one below the Pentagon( you take control of JFK btw). A leisure activity, it is d**n right fun to try that. The big difference is that you get the Revive Soda Perk-a-cola in the first chamber, so you can survive easily. Other things you get is a Shotgun (works well but it has 2 bullets) and an M14 ( loses power after 4-th round) I am particuarly fond of the nazi map, because the game puts me in control of Baron von Richto... what his name is, and he just sounds sooo funny when you shoot a zombie, the hellhounds came, you die and such.

3. The Multiplayer

The best part of this game HAS TO BE the multiplayer. I just can't get myself off the screen trying to not play it. The point system is welcomed IMO because it forbids so called "level hackers" to have all weapons plus all attachements unlocked.A new game mode, called Wager Match makes it's debut in Black Ops. It consists of 3 game types the most popular being the Gun Game mod. Yes they made an official release of Gun Game so no one has to mod a server to get it. The downside is that you have to bet yu own COD Points so u can play a wager match. The first 3 palyers get points while the rest get nothing. Another thing they introduced is something called Contracts. These can be bought with COD Points, consist in a challenge and if you complete it you get more points than the amount you paid for that respective contract. The multiplayer itself has been well ballanced, following countless complaints about grenade launcher or RPG spam. Stopping Power perk, the baseline of all Call Of Duty games, does not make it's return in Black Ops. A real shame IMO because I really loved it. The biggest feature the multiplayer has to offer is not the variety of weapons, not the nerfing of certain gameplay types, but the customization system. You get to choose which type of Red Dot you have, from a smiley to a nuclear sign, how you look in a game, the perks change your appearance aswell, you get to choose from 10-15 camouflages and stuff like that. The Gold camouflage makes its comeback, only problem is that you have to get to Prestige 14 out of 15 to use it.

4. The Cons

First of all, when the movie between misions play, I usually get the sound stoping dead end. It resumes after a short while but it is annoying when you watch the movie carefully. Another problem I face on me laptop is that if more than 6 guys are firing their weapons, the game just freezes for 1-2 secs then resumes. The third problem is that in the Helicoper Driving Levels you don't get to control it's altitude.Another problem is that the campaign, thrilling and fun as it is, it's too short. It took me 6 hours to complete it O.o. The 5-th and final problem is that Reznov is dead after Vorkuta, but he still appears as a vision of Mason, which I didn't like because I knew he was dead and suggested that Mason is a complete nut-job.

All in all I'm giving the game a 9/10, it fulfilled the basic needs for a shooter and it kept improving it. Although it isn't as great as Modern Warfare 2, it's way better than World at War or Call of Duty Modern Warfare. IMO it's a MUST HAVE for hardcore Call of Duty Fans.

Last week I reviewed CoD Black Ops, earning a respectable 9/10. It had everything you want.

Following the release of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, some of you may have noticed I wasn't on for quite some time. I had to sober up to start driving again.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, the latest entry in the long lasting Need for Speed Series goes back to basics. Cops, racers, no story. Exactly like the original. No tuning and ofc no cheezy acting around. The game is set in a place called Seacrest County, where it's a constant Cat & Dog race between the cops and the racers. The game features various scenarios, from twisty alpine roads to flat out road in a desert to a coast-line road. You name it, it has it. I am rather dissapointed about the fact that the game-map, just doesn't make you feel it's big, although in all reality it is. In all rates, the game features 2 career modes: a full on police career ( not a NFS Hot Pursuit 2 7 minute max) and a racer career. The damage system makes it's return in Hot Pursuit, so you gotta ram into them to take the cops(or racers) down

1.The Seacrest County Police Department

I know cheezy title name, but what else can you say about them. They get to use the fastest ,meanest, baddest-ass looking cars of them all. All police cars come equipped with Nitrous which last 7 secs a full tank and an array of weapons. Spike strips, Roadblocks and Helicoper are common. The new thing is an EMP - which acts like a shotgun for cars. Takes a time to lock on but when it fires it damages and disorientates the car for a time. You have to get from level 1 to level 20 by completing races and challenges. Some challenges consist in hitting the racers with the weapons. The more you hit them, the more you complete challenges and upgrade your equipment. The cop races consist in getting to one place in time without scratching the car, shutting down racers, and catch speeding drivers. I JUST LOVE EM ;D

2. The Racers

The racers host themselves an array of weapons, which is rather surprising as now the racers can fight back without having to crash their cars. Only difference is that they don't have roadblocks and a helicopter, but a jammer and a turbo. The jammer forces cops to use brute force, not the weapons. Jammer is surprisingly effective when a cop is trying to EMP ya. The turbo is litteraly liek strapping a giant rocket to a car. It provides a massive acceleration boost and it's best used on straights. Racers use an array of convertibles while cops use only coupe's. Racer races consist in a sprint race, a duel race (1 vs 1 where you use 1 out of 2 possible cars), raicng with the cops behind ya and time trials.

3. The cars.
In all truth both sides have the same cars, only that on some models, racers use convertibles, and cops coupes. One such example is the trademark car : The Buggati Veyron. The cops use the normal 16.4 version while racers use the Grand Sport Version, which in all essence is a convertible. Other cars include Pagani Zonda, 6 Different Types of Lamborghini, Gallardo LP 560-4, LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni, Murcielago LP 670-4 etc. and of course The Lamborghini Reventon. Other special cars make their appearances, the BMW M6 convertible, the Aston Martin One-77, the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, the McLaren MP4-12C. All in all supercars. Muscle cars make their appearance aswell, the Chevrolet Camaro, The Dodge Challenger ( new ones) The Shelby GT 500 and SuperSnake version. I must say the game has a car for every need.

4. The Problems
First of all, no customization. I mean I understand with cop cars, but why don't the racers have this. I mean they can only choose the color of the car. And that's it. Second is the Nitrous difference. What I'm trying to say is cops get a 7 sec burst of Nitrous on a full tank, While racers get 21 secs. That's 3 Times more. The 3-rd and final problem is, the cars are free. I mean you get the bounty, you get the car. You just own it but don't have to pay career money to own it. What's the point of having all cars if you can't buy em? It's just like playing with cheats.

Despite all the little problems I consider this game a great success. It's just Need For Speed back to the roots. Nothing more, nothing less. 9.5/10

Hello again! Some time has passed since my last review, time which culminated with the launch of Test Drive Unlimited 2, the game I was expecting, or did I?

Now as you all probably seen it will feature tonnes of cars and even SUV's, which is great, except that 2 key car producers are missing : Lamborghini and Maserati. Then again it features some rather good cars : Chevrolet Camaro, Shelby GT500 Mustang and such, even the Aston Martin One-77.

And the idea of off-road driving SUV's is actually quite good, goodbye lose grip when u veer off the track, now the biggest worry is to be careful of the back end of the car, which might slip. It could be just the car, I mean the others won't have this problem? Anyways, I am rather dissapointed they didn't feature rally cars on the offroad track. What I am trying to say is that they have the Subaru Impreza WRX STi but it's for asphalt, not off road, which is preeety awkward if you ask me.

And it gets worse. Now to drive a class of cars, you have to do a Racer License Stab-Wounds ... errrr I mean Challenges, practically the driving test of the driving school. Now I am ok, until they give me a rubbish car like the original Mustang(god that thing just oversteers like ****) which I cannot control. Another thing is that the driving categories are splitted in : A1(the best cars),A2.....,A7(the not so good cars), B1... B4(off-raoders), C1.....C4(classic cars). Which means you gotta take the test for every single category possible.

I suppose it could be worse.... like the commenting of the game. WHY THE HELL DID THEY PUT ANGELINA'S JOLIE VOICE AT THE BEGGINING OF THE RACE WHICH SAYS SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE? It just feels wrong, and it is d**n right annoying. And to make money you have to do a series of Championships, which has the same rivals. It's not like Most Wanted's Blacklist.... It's just some people, rich people ( like someone R.Abramovich of Chelsea) no real taunts, no real challenge.... You think once you defeated him/her he/she's gone... but it's nooooot!!!

And it keeps getting better (/sarcasm off) the graphics of the game are ****. They are exactly the same as the original TDU, except that now it runs on windowed mode depending on the resolution u using, e.g. i use 1024X768, the game window is EXACTLY 1024X768. Did they even try doing something?

Conclusion

I liked the original TDU, hell I loved it, simple and efficient, made me have absolute fun. This one? The graphics are rubbish, the car list is weak, the story is rubbish ( a valet turns into a racing driver? come on.....). One thing I did like is the game sounds, except for that annoying Angelina Jolie voice at the beggining of each race. Honestly they just labeled a redesigned TDU and put it on the market. They didn't TRY absolutely anything. It is... frankly just a HUUUGe dissapointment. I'm giving it a 6/10. My god I thought it will be something good. I am sorry to say it just isn't..... Need For Speed Hot Pursuit still remains my favorite game so far....

I'll be back next week to review Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, then the last game I want to review will be Dragon Age 2. Till then, cya and take care

i was planning to pre-purchase the game on steam
but was a bit sketchy in how good the game rly would be
the game is here 49,95 euros and with that money i rly wanted a good game and lately there are a few good ones that came out

im from the old days of ridge racer 4 and i love the need for speed series

all the points u mentioned in your post , is rly surprising and shocking at the same time ...they rly fucked up the game it seems

It's true m8, the challenges are bad cuz of 2 things:

1. U ain't driving the same car in ALL challenges... i still recall the C4 challenge where you had to overtake something in a rubbish Ford Mustang (old one)... took me quite some time to get it don

2.The cars are usually bad

Now what I wanted to make clear is that there are championships for each class with A1 bein the super-hyper car class. But i don't think it's just worth wasting 4 hrs a day to just advance ONE class. The game is just repetitive, only with different cars.

For me the ultimate driving game will remain Need For Speed Hot Pursuit (2010), 2-nd would be Need for Speed Most Wanted

Glad I helped ya m8, now take that money and buy me a case of beer
