I have an awesome vamp? Cool!! LOL

Well Vamps are super simple if you aren't going for crazy unusual builds or anything...

Here is the basics of mine: First you will ALWAYS be in Vampire form!

Attributes: Put 5 points into Strength and 1 point into Physical Regen. over and over as you level...

Skills:

Vampirism= MAX
Bloodlust= MAX

Spread out the rest of your points through these as you like:
Weapon Lore
Armor
Constitution
Concentration

The rest of the skill choices are up to you.

Combat Arts:

Vamp Transformation- You will always be in Vamp form so you want to keep the length of your form as high as you can without making the regen. time too long.

Claws of Death (Hard Hit)- This will be your main attack so you want it as high as it can get while remaining as close to a 1 sec regen. as possible.... 1.4 regen. is fine for instance.

Whirling Claws (Multi-hit)- This can be useful if you are surrounded by a large group but the timing is somewhat tricky and depending on that and where everyone is standing you might not even hit anyone so I put a bunch of runes into this but don't use a ton unless I am power hunting.

Gear:

I use a full socketed Fadalmar's so I get the Fireball effect which can be truly deadly.
For the rest I usually use Thorwyn's so I can get the MF which I love.
For any random pieces left just go with what you have that is best for your char at the time based on personal preference.

So to end it up she is basically a tank in this build.... constant Vamp form and Hard Hit is the main goal so go with whatever increases these the most. The rest is up to your playing style. For instance you could also make her a descent trader if you wanted since there is extra skills to choose and what not.

thats a cool build
but i dont get the concentration wolfe?
if you are going to be in vamp form all the time
why would you take that?
concentration does not effect your vamp skills...

and for the skill points and atributes

i boosted my

vampirism to max
bloodlust to max
and also try to get your weapon lore up high

all my atribute points go into strenght

vampire transformation do it like wolfe says keep the regen reasonable so when it runs out you can cast it again

my CA are
ripping claws - for me the most deadly atack she has!
and my all time favorite claw jump - wil explain this in my vamp build im planing to post
but Ari and Henkus have seen me in action with it and im trying to perrfect it
its a great CA!!

and my gear is thorwyns set with some insane rings in them
wil post that later
and my weapon is fadalmars axe
fireballs and claw jump are nesesary for my build to work
and a wicked shield

but like i said i wil post a more detailed build of my vamp tomorrow
she is a killer

also in my early days i can remember your vamp and that of griffs were really great builds

Ahhhh well having some concentration helps for those occasions that you lose your vamp form but are in the middle of a large mob so can't transform back right away. I figured it couldn't hurt since she didn't need all her skill choices and you are relying mostly on that one get increased through your gear.

See I never really liked Attack on any of the chars.... of course that could be because I never increased it more than two or three points hehe

Thanks for the heads up on the Attack CA... I tried it on my new HC Vamp and she is kickin butt!!!!!
