Here's the build:
rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0Micp.Vhb.EIdqiqskqz.V
The Bard soul has the only resurrection ability available for rogues so it is absolutely essential for dungeons and raids even if you aren't actively playing a bard.
As a bard your primary role is to help the healer deal with AoE damage while increasing your group's damage output so always keep your motifs up and use the occasional Coda of Restoration when you see a few health bars dip below 80%.
Healing
Bard healing is based around multiple people taking continuous damage. That is when barding is most effective since you don't have any big single target heals.
Always remember that your healing abilities affect only part of the raid with the exception of Verse of Vitality that heals the whole raid. Both Cadence and Coda of Restoration affect 5 people with the lowest hit points that are within range of your abilities. Due to these limitations you will most likely need a chloro and a bard to heal the raid (aside from the tank healers of course).
Though bards lack single target heals they can however keep a tank up for a while even when the healer is dead or afk. If such an event occurs you will need to react very fast because there is a delay before you can start main healing. First use Riff on the mob with the most hp (if it's a trash pull) because your healing is completely dependent on this mob surviving, then use Virtuoso asap and start spamming Coda of Restoration. If it happens on a boss fight it's a bit easier since you don't have to watch the mobs health, just pop Virtuoso with enough combo points and let the spam begin.
Buffing and Debuffing
Before each fight you are going to need to buff different calling with different Fanfares. To do this you are going to need to know how to use line of sight. First buff all the group members with Fanfare of Knowledge (not necessarily everyone as long as you get all the mages and clerics buffed) then hide behind a wall or pillar in a way that you can't see any mages or clerics. Then tell all the warriors and rogues in your raid to join you behind the wall or pillar (be ready for a few comments about the implied innuendos). Check the raid frames if the appropriate calling are grayed out and use Fanfare of Power (this is a bit messy the first few times you do it but it is necessary). You can completely ignore Fanfare of Vigor since it overrides other cleric and warrior buffs. Also have Anthem of fervor active at all times, the only exception is when you have a chloro in the raid and resistances are absolutely vital. In that case use Anthem of Defiance.
The 5 Motifs you will have to spam every 30sec so be sure to have them in a comfortable position and use Motif of Regeneration only after the tank has pulled to avoid aggro.
One of your best buffs is Verse of Joy so use it whenever you see an opportunity. For casters this buff only restores a portion of their mana however for rogues and warriors it basically grants them unlimited energy for 15 seconds witch can dramatically increase their damage output. Try to coordinate the use of this ability with others to maximize it's effects.
When you have your buffs up and everyone is healed up start debuffing mobs with Coda of Cowardice and Coda of Distress. These work as AoE debuffs so once you get a debuff off on a single mob the whole pack gets it aswell. One thing to note here is if you notice Coda of Distress disappearing before it should that means one of the mages or clerics is overriding it with their own debuff so coordinate this with your raid mates if that happens.
Other Abilities
This build allows you to do some crowd control aswell with Verse of Fascination, Verse of Captivation and Lost Hope (while stealthed). Verse of Captivation can also be used as an interrupt on trash mobs and since it has no cooldown you can basically interrupt casting mobs indefinitely.
You also get Shadow Shift from the riftstalker tree witch is extremely usefull on some boss fights, particularly in DsM.
Gear
Trinkets like Sacred Heirloom of Eth and Greater planar essences that proc heals over time work with bard heals aswell and can dramatically increase your healing output.
That should be enough to get you through most dungeons but try experimenting with your abilities to discover some advanced tactics and rotations (hint: Flamespike).
