Here are the two essential dps specs every rogue should look into:

And here is my Marksman build:
rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0MNfM.VM.EGtRqdAudR.0VR
Though it does not have the most dps you can squeeze out of the Rogue calling it does make up for it in very usefull utilities that can help out a strugling tank round up those annoying mage mobs or remove healing and damage increaseing buffs some dungeon bosses put on themselves.
Deaden allows you to both interrupt and silence a caster enemy for 5 seconds but needs to be used when the enemy is casting otherwise it will not work. This ability also works on certain dungeon boss abilities like the Death Blast spell of the second boss in Expert Deepstrike Mines. The way you can tell if a spell is interruptable is by the color of the casting bar of the enemy, if it's blue it's interruptable and if it's yellow don't even try.
Eradicate is mostly used on bosses that like to heal themselves or put up a reflecting shield. It's also usefull in CC or RD since certain mobs have a damage reflecting buff on them like Warlock Armor.
If your healer pulls aggro from a single mob always remember the combo of Rapelling Shot and Static Shot. It's not as important on small pulls but if the tank is taking heavy damage then your priority is to help the healer avoid getting casting pushback.
Sniper's Pedestal is the only reason you would want to spec a full 51 points into the Marksman tree so always remember to keep it up. When you leve it you still retain it's 30% damage bonus for the next 15 seconds or untill you reenter the pedestal so use that to your advantage on boss fights that require movement. Also if you've set up the pedestal a bit close to a trash pull and you want to use Crossfire just take a few steps back so the pack doesn't suffer pushback from this ability (believe me that pushback is annoying to tanks and melee dpsers).
Bull's Eye is generally used before Lightning Fury on trash pulls and before Deadeye Shot on single target. Don't bother using it with Strafe, Crossfire or Rapidfire Shot since the crit only works for the first tick of damage.
Improve Hit and Run is your main damage dealer during a boss fight so time it accordingly. Don't use it right before a boss starts casting his "kill everything in sight" ability or you'll just end up wasting it, always pop this cooldown right after a boss is done with his abilities. You also might want to consider only using 2 Epowered Shots before a Deadeye Shot since you end up wasting 1 combo point with every rotation witch is an overall dps loss. If you don't have a bard or chloro in your group and are getting energy starved too fast always remember this ability halves the energy cost of all your marksman abilities so if you're still far from the next boss use this with Fan Out for some nice AoE dps.
You might've noticed i don't provide any macros. That is because i don't use any. So you're on your own with that aspect of the build. Ofcourse you can always bind every ability you have to a different key like me but i'm often told that's not the conventional way of doing things so i guess use this build at your own risk.
If i see significant interest in this build i will post the rotation to maximise the dps.
