Has anyone already found some strat stuff about the new raid ? If you have, put it down in this thread. I've managed to find some stuff on boss called the "Blind One" (boss #5 I think, and he sounds like a nasty critter) at US forums website thread: forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=277284He seems to reset agro and do other nasty stuff. Bit from that thread: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Re: DN: Blind One: Warmer! Colder! Spoiler Thread There are two eyes. One Red, One Yellow. If you receive the Red eye, you're rooted in place. If you receive the Yellow eye, you can move freely. Upon expiration of the Red eye debuff you explode. If your explosion hits someone else they take damage and acquire the Red eye debuff. The Yellow eye is contagious via proximity as well. You can pass it back and forth indefinately. to my knowledge, you cannot interupt the distribution of either of the eye debuffs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the 1st boss. I think we were on the right track, just matter of time before we get him down . I t might be worth to get a 3 hour +1 hope from balrog before we have another go, saves a lot of DP and makes sure everyone gets that extra hope.

First thing to say is people need rad gear. Our Fri run was more for a bit of fun than a serious attempt. We had people cowering on the first (troll) bosses. We won't get far in this instance without people with gear, and will only end up with repair bills and frustration. New instances are fairly easy and people need to run them for the +15 gear. I get the impression that some people are not really keen on raiding atm. Sign-ups for raids are not what they might be for a kin our size. That's fine - raiding is not for everyone. But please don't be surprised if, when we get them under control, that raid spots go to those who stuck it out with the kin hour after hour, defeat after defeat. I do think people need to remember that this instance and the Watcher will need many, many hours hard work before we get it under control. For me, the fun is experiencing new content and working out how to successfully beat new and difficult bosses ;D So, let's get the new gear, get a full group, and start DN as we mean to go on

I'm with Kris on this. I'm a big fan of experiencing all the new content properly and getting the satisfaction of figuring out how to take down the new bosses And like Kris, I've noticed a lot less in the way of people signing up for things and a general drift away in activity, myself included before anybody thinks I'm giving off about people. People have a lot going on, and with it being summer I know there's less of a draw to be sitting inside all day But I just wanted to say, let's not forget what makes this a great kin; being able to have a laugh and have fun while getting things done
