New Raid Site! For all our Raiding pleasures

We have had some problems with raiding recently. Not enough people and when we have enough people, not the right classes. Put simply, we won't kill the Watcher without the right group, and we won't make any progress in DN without more people signing up for raids. We are setting up a kin Raid Group to try and solve this problem, and make sure we can enjoy the end-game instances and get the nice loot and titles!!

The Raid Group - Joining

ANYONE - repeat ANYONE - who is level 60 can join if you are prepared to show some commitment. You may have 0/6 radiance or 8/6 - it doesn't matter. If you show your commitment to raiding, DT will show it back by helping you get the gear - armour and jewels - that you need.

Your Commitment

The raid group IS NOT some 'uber leet' group which will be staying up until dawn running instances. However, we do want some commitment from you if we are going to help you. This will mean signing up for raids, and coming to the hard raids - Watcher and DN - when you can. Everyone has a RL - if you can only make it once every two weeks, no problem - as long as you commit to making it when you can, we want you to join the group.

We now have a Raid Officer, Kristle. One of his jobs is to make sure members are coming on raids. If you have problems with making raids, you should speak to him.

This doesn't mean if you join the group that you have to come on every raid - we know that some nights you'll just want to level your alts. But we do expect you to join whenever you can - if you don't enjoy raiding this isn't for you!

Casual Raiders

For the Turtle, we will continue to do as many runs as we can fill - so you won't miss out if you don't join the raid group. But please bear in mind, spots WILL go to people in the raid group first - they have shown their commitment to raiding and this is only fair.

The Raid Board, DKP and Raid Calendar

To make raiding in DT even more effective, we have set up a new mini-site to help us. dtraid.mmoguildsites.com/. You should visit the site and sign-up to join the raid group.

This is where raids will be planned. Our new DKP system (a system for rewarding players with loot for their participation) is also on that site. You can read all about DKP there.

Please feel free to discuss any of this with Demonjay or an Officer if it is not clear.

Just a little guide how to apply on the new raiding site:

1. You go to www.mmoguildsites.com/signup and sign up. Chose the free option. You wil get your own site, but you will not need this for anything. You will now get a mail saying that you are registered on mmo guildsites.

2. Then you go to dtraid.mmoguildsites.com/ and logg in with the same details as you did on mmo guildsites. You will now have to wait for Kristle to accept your application on the new raid site.

3. Kristle accepts you and you recieve a mail saying that you are. Now you can go and enter your characters, join the different groups and even have fun in the shoutbox

Have fun and if you have any problems signing up, dont hesitate to ask any of the officers for help
