wel people the last few days ive been very busy trying to get F.E.A.R. up and running smooth again but there is now a prob with F.E.A.R that even i can solve...
wel il explain a bit to you whats up
F.E.A.R server and F.E.A.R combat run on PB (punkbuster)
PB is a program that you use to update your game and server
most of the servers have PB enabled and what punkbuster does it stops people from hacking on your server and kicks them out
it also make screenshots of all the players once in a while and registers wich players has tried to hack and what his stats are
but now i tried to setup the server for the last clan day
because after i formated my comp and had to start fresh again
when i wanted to update the server it dint work i tried several ways but no success and i know that i did it right because ive always runned the servers of F.E.A.R and created a few good game maps and settings
so i thought wel maybe i messed some thing up il just reinstall the whole thing even the game and put it back al fresh again...
now i cant even update my game any more so i have a not up to date server and game
that means if my game is not up to date i cant enter servers with still PB on it because PB wants you to enable it and have it up to date.....
i went to PBbans forum and asked what the deal was
it seems that PB stops supporting F.E.A.R....
wel the contract stopped and sierra/vu <---F.E.A.R doesn't want to continue with PB so its killing his own game this way

so ive tried to be like a security guard on my own server ....not playing at all but flying trough the lvl as a spectator watching people if they dint hack....wel they did ....they just cant resist , wallhacks,speed hacks and extra dmg i think
it very hard to catch certain hacks because some wallhacks allow people to see trough walls and the only way to catch them is to see if they glitch or lag when there is no lag or always know when some 1 is coming around the corner ...
so i can hardly play i every now and then there is a hacker on it messin it up for the whole server ..
soo ive decided to stop supporting F.E.A.R in the clan .....its to bad i really loved that game ...
but i just refuse to play with hackers !
we will keep the server and dt games we have for it DM,TDM,CTF,control etc etc
for when we want a go at it but i just stop supporting it
so F.E.A.R thnx for all the great times ive enjoyed it very much
