Well.....trying to get Aion to run for the Closed Beta Test has pointed out there might possibly be a serious issue with my OS.....though tbh GameGuard is the worst written programme I have ever come across The NCSoft Support team are advising me of several ways to fix this, but currently everything I have tried has not worked.

Such is the case, I am going to either have to do a repair of the OS, or if needs be........a complete reformatting of the hard drive and reinstallation of everything ~sighs~ Thankfully, i'm that cautious I have everything backed up onto an external hard drive, so the re-installation of Lotro won't take several days

Will update what's going on if necessary on the forum if I may be gone longer than expected, but other than that expect me out of Lotro for a week to doubly ensure everything is reinstalled correctly and is functioning properly (hopefully no more BSOD's as often as i've been getting!).

Oh I agree Gameguard is a useless piece of junk I was lucky enough not to have any probs with it this weekend. If you need any help with anything just shout.

Well good news is I don't think i'm gonna need to either repair the OS or even reformat, so I won't be offline Though I am a little unwell atm so will depend how i'm feeling rofl And it also looks like that a new nVidia update has stabilised whatever was wrong with the Graphics Card, so no more BSOD's I hope

It only took me to manually move a folder, completely rewrite the registry paths for it, and also completely uninstall my Comodo Firewall to make it to the bloody game login screen =/ Guess i'm gonna have to go back to AVG or something ~sighs~ The joy of Beta's
