Traits: Honesty, Justice, Determination, Valour and Loyalty all maxed at 10+. My ICPR goes between 669 to 683 depending on the armour I use, I do not trait for high ICPR because if I am in a high end fight I usually have a LM (Ediel/Aganverus) to call on for power. My ICMR is 829 again depending on what I use.

My Class traits are set to the Bowmaster with: Fast Draw; Hail of Arrows; The quality of mercy; Critical eye; Deadly precision; Arrow storm; and, Swift and True. My Legendary Traits are: Bow of the Righteous (Bloddy essential); Bards Arrow: and, Rain of Thorns. While I recognise that other people have their opinions on how a Hunter should be setup, please note that I have successfully tanked The Watcher (1.0), taken down EM mobs with 17k morale (before and after B7) and I rarely visit the graveyard when I solo. In groups, I don't usually suffer from Power consumption, thanks to Bow of the Righteous, if your a hunter past level 50 without this Legendary Trait, there is something wrong, fix it now or you will forever fail I feel that I have a nice mix for what I want, a spanking winning machine When I solo, I swithch between the Pathfinders shoulders and leggings as it give slightly better morale and power. With class traits, I specifically chose Fast Draw for the reduced induction and Arrow Storm for the extra focus it provides. The chosen Bowmaster set, well they speak for themselves. Legendary traits, as I said if you do not have BoTR and your over levle 50, fail. FIX it now. I wont argue that one and anyone who thinks they can live without BoTR is an idiot (imo). Bards arrow and Rain of Thorns, well CC (crowd control) is necessary if you're going to fight more than 3 manageable mobs (for me 3x level 60 3.5k mobs). If I have more than 3 I either run or use CC or die trying.

Stances:
Sorry Tanks, as I am traited for Bowmaster I use Strength stance to maximise my DPS. Usually Thrar doesn't have trouble keeping aggro (you're damned good mate) and I only change on special request depending on the circumstances. Any time there is an issue, well beneath notice usually solves it (especially in the turtle fight).
I have noticed that most fights are DPS fests' and require a lot of fast DPS, and Bowmaster/Strenght is the best combination for that.
I don't really like discussing hunters' stances and do my best to avoid those topics, but if you're going to trait for BM you have to use strength otherwise you need to retrait (imo).
The best advice I can give to anyone, is learn to play the class the way you want to, get the best gear/virtue/trait setup to suit that style and do the same with LI's. to help with this, there is a variety of information and opinions in the LoTRO Lorebook and the EU forums, read them as I did and decide for yourself what you want.
For Legendary Weapons, again you want to read up on them but get Induction threat down on the bow as it reduces your threat on all you main skills as they require induction. Another one to consider is focus threat reduction which is good for all those skills unlocked by increasing your focus.
Everything else should be common sense, you are a hunter not a champ so melee crit isnt that handy (but nice) on a hand held weapon. You don't need extra stealth or camoflague, unless you want to hide on creeps in the ettens. If you want melee crit LI's get good blindside crits as that skill is very good, especially when it crits.
The last bit of advice I have is, go fix your freaking virtues instead of doing hard mode runs or farming First Age junk. If your Virtues are sh*t you will fail, and I will fail stamp your ass.
