Nice indeed Kris, don't forget to give a beak down on particular trait sets and virtue compositions too. Any tips on LI's for weapons would be advantageous too Like Champions (Post Bk8) we should always be stance dancing e.g. Turtle if you grab aggro pop Beneath Notice (I know most do this) but you can continue to control aggro even while this is on cooldown, Grabbed aggro again? Endurance Stance and Quick Shot is your friend learn to use it. So that this is not completely off topic, my reason for posting is that healing a hunter is a power costly thing for a minstrel in the long run as you are rather squishy and will require more healing in the period your getting beat on than a Tank would. So help yourselfs by helping us.
I have to disagree here Genesis. I have a counter arguement to balance the stance dancing, but this is not the thread for it as it would involve discussing Lore Masters having to dish power to hunters taking away from the fact that the Minstrel is the higher priority for power, then there is the trait sets each stance can be traited for.
Like I say, this thread is a guide for fledgling/less experienced Minstrels and not a place for discussing the pros' or cons' of other classes and their dynamics peculiar to this game.
I don't mind discussing your views on the LM having to dish out power to hunters.
Intent Concentration (3m CD untraited and w/o Armour Set Bonus) + Power Pot (2m CD) = 1.1k Power every 3 minutes technically or 2 minutes if traited/armour set
Typical Turtle Fight: Duration 6/7 minutes? that's a possibility of using the above mentioned combo 2/3 times. Again, I very rarely have power problems unless I have to spam the big hiters to make up for the dps loss in a group and that using my mentioned Stance Dance that I have always used and I know have quite a small power pool compared to say your hunter Finn, because I have neglected certain aspects like traits and gear on that character
Tbh we will just have to agree to disagree but for the cost of an extra 140-210 power in a boss fight to be able to control my aggro and not get my introductions set back losing about 5 seconds worth of damage (Which is the equilavent of 5 quick shots or 1 BA + SA. This example is without having the trait to make it harder for interupts while in needful haste or while NH is on CD)
Plus as mentioned in the Minstrel Guide, a Hunter will require more healing and thus lowering the potential power pool of thus Minstrel.
