Fearme try this: 1. Power down PC, and unplug all perpherials (CD-ROM, Floppy (lol), GFX Card, Sound Card anything that connects directly to your powersupply) 2. Disconnect any SATA/IDE Cables connecting these components to your motherboard 3. Remove your Memory Modules 4. Read Manual for this (Find how you reset your CMOS Memory, normally a battery or jumper setting near the memory modules or gfx card bay) 5. Now power up the PC with just the motherboard connected (10 secs) then power down. 6. Now that all memory on the motherboard has been wiped and a fresh start, launch BIOS disable Floppy drive and setup boot sequence as before. find an option called 'OS Install Mode' if it is turned off then turn it on, and insert your windows CD/DVD and do a diagnostics/repair. 7. Once step 6 is complete launch BIOS and turn off the OS Install Mode 8. Hopefully should be working by now. and Back to downloading Book 8

Yes mate you will need to open it up and unplug everything pretty much. Get your manual out and find a diagram of your motherboard, also make a note of where everything is plugged into
