Firstly, in case any of you are unfamilair with the 'Action' series of mods, here's a quick intro. The mod has been running for about 10+ years and has featured in the form of Action Quake, Action Quake 2, Action Halflife, and now Action Halflife 2. The objective of the mod is to transform normal deathmatch into a fast-paced action movie experience. Your character can perform fantastic looking forward and sideways dives, rolls, backward leaps, all whilst shooting, and there is real comedy value to the gameplay. You bleed from injuries, can perform flying ninja kicks, and throw knives. You will kill and be killed about once every 10 seconds, but the best feature of all is simply how quick and easy it is to pick up the stunts. All you need to play is copy of Half-life 2. Its not going to win mod of the year but its worth a peek. You can download the game client (1.0) here : www.ministryofaction.net/files/ahl2-v1.exe

During our 2-man deathmatch session on Action Halflife 2 (which quickly turned into a 12-man bloodfest as more people joined), the highlight for me was diving backwards over a bridge whilst throwing a knife at Demon's head, killing him instantly. Other moments included Demon introducing me at point blank range to his sawed-off shotgun (affectionately known as the handcannon), as well as numerous inch-perfect grenade tosses. Salut.
