Mentioning the steak just reminded me of a random encounter I had on Saturday night.

There's a steak house in Belfast that has a 64oz steak challenge. If you eat it in an hour you get it for free. We were stood outside the bar in the rain (don't ask ) and another friend of ours was passing by and ran over to say he'd just done it. And his parting comment was:

"I know my limit. And it's 4 pounds of beef"
