I've seen these and yes they are that good ^_^ You have good taste Henkus
There are a few i'm gonna recommend here:
Versus - Japanese Horror B-movie and one of the best low-budget ones ever made; good for a laugh and does has an interesting plot line despite it's not that well written lol. Plenty of fake decapitations, bad special effects, and baaaad zombies, but I just think it's brilliant
Divergence - Cantonese movie that is quite gripping about a cop, a lawyer, and a hitman whose lives end up entwined in the same thing. Pretty impressive and gritty for a Chinese movie
Lucky Number Slevin - Yes, this is a Hollywood movie, and yes it has people like Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett, and Morgan Freeman, but it's really a very well written and acted movie, and slightly confusing until you get to the end But when it does you'll be kicking yourself for not spotting it

Saw the new Star Trek movie yesterday evening and I have to say it's pretty d**n awesome. It's action packed, humorous, affectionately nods to the fans of the original series without alienating those new to the whole thing...and 2 Spocks. I mean really, could you ask for anything more. Oh and a movie I very highly recommend you see/rent/download is 'The Boondock Saints' uk.imdb.com/title/tt0144117/If don't mind subtitles in your movies (shame on you if you do), a lovely film is 'Life is Beautiful' or La vita รจ bella uk.imdb.com/title/tt0118799/ I also thoroughly enjoyed The Mist (2007) uk.imdb.com/title/tt0884328/ Only problem was, I actually laughed at the end. Apparently that was the wrong reaction. Ooops.

Watched Star Trek with my Dad last night ^_^ Absolutely loved it It's going to be interesting to see where they'll take this. Have to say, Karl Urban as Bones was a brilliant casting; he has him down to a tee, yet he is a little different thanks to Urban's own acting style ^_^
Has enough humor in it to make you smile, and a little giggle here and there, but not so farcical to make the whole movie then appear to be a joke; also has enough action and explosions in it to keep most of the population happy that likes things like that This will open up Star Trek to a whole new fanbase with what they've done, and it's also stuck closely enough to what it is in essence (and sort of history-wise too ) to keep all the old school fans happy as well ^_^
I've been told so many times of the awesomness of The Boondock Saints, but it's one of those movies I still haven't gotten around to watching yet =/ Think if I end up going out at the weekend it will be a random purchase ;P
And I agree with Ediel, A Beautiful Life is a wonderful movie ^_^ I always cry when I watch it lol; I always cry easily at those kind of things
Not seen The Mist, but then again i'm not one for those sorts of movies; much prefer psychological thriller stuff, mainly of the Japanese variety ;P Those guys know have to give adults nightmare still....unless that's just me xD
One movie I want to recommend is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ^_^ I love this movie so much, it's so strange and unusual, and it really does leave you thinking what the hell is going on at some points. May not be the sort of thing most people are into but I still think you should at least give it a go

May not be the sort of thing most people are into but I still think you should at least give it a go I tried so hard to like this movie, not least as it's got an ELO track in it (Mr Blue sky, I think) and it's the kinda weird movie I usually like, but I had to give up half way through - I just didn't care about any of the characters. I will give it another go though as I've done that before; not liked a movie and watched again and thought it was brilliant.
