Gareth's (Odin) sense of humour - the beginnings

Ever wondered why I say some of the most ridiculous and sometimes sexually rude to the point of OMG, what the f*ck. well I have to say that Rik Mayal and Adrian Edmonson basically moulded my sense of humour, from sexual innuendo, slapstick to all out gross...thanks to growing up with their comedy sitcom "Bottom".

Here is one of my favourite clips from their show, which is actually hard to decide as there are so many....watch this and I think you will better understand where I come from when I say some of the most ridiculous things.....(oh and add into it Blackadder and you will see it's where I have tried to hone my sense of wit also)

My British comrades in DT will definately have seen the show if not heard it, and I dare say it may be known in a few western countries to....

this last clip is a homage to Kaldron hehe, i wonder if this is how kaldron first discovered the beauty of the act..

Bottom is a pure British gem of a comedy show, sums our humour up very well rofl ^_^ Though I do love The Young Ones more (that was a show the guys did together before they went on to do Bottom for those of you that don't know )

As for Blackadder, that show was just sheer brilliance ^_^ Think my favourite (and yes laugh, I can never remember the series names lol) was the Elizabethan one with Queenie ^_^

One of my alltime favourite shows though is Black Books ^_^ Go Bill Bailey! (crazy hippy bug-eyed druid guy xD which he does actually describe himself as too lol) And Dylan Moran is fantastic in it as the grumpy, wine-soaked Irish shop owner ^_^

black books is fantastic, that to is one of my fave shows, originally written by Lenehan I think who write father Ted, also a fantastic show..

It was Blackadder 2 with Queen Elizabeth but I really cannot decide between that series, the third series with the Prince Regent, George or the fourth in World War 1, all have their own briliance.

I know Bottom we have that here to and i wathced it many times
i forgot what the show was called....been such a long time ago when i last seen it
they are very funny crazy bastards always beating them selfs up hehehe
ive seenloads of episode of them

black adder on teh other hand i do know but never really followed it on TV
so sry cant comment on that i knew it was funny but dint catch me that much maybe i should give it a other try
